  • Abuse by Nuns - Dedicated to exposing the issue of abuse by nuns, supporting those personally affected by it, and advocating for responsible and healing approaches in addressing it.

  • ACSA - Adult Survivors of Child Abuse, individual and group support program for adult survivors of physical, sexual and/or emotional child abuse or neglect.

  • Advocate Web - AdvocateWeb is a nonprofit organization providing information and resources to promote awareness and understanding of the issues involved in the exploitation of persons by trusted helping professionals.

  • American Boychoir School - The American Boychoir School is an example of institutionalized sexual abuse of students. The New York Times and ABC News described decades of alleged sexual abuse by staff and teachers. Boychoir alumni have created this site to uncover the dark secret of their abuse.

  • Art of Survival - An exhibition of work created by survivors of childhood clergy sexual abuse. Open to all survivors using all media, including Photography, Poetry, Painting, Sculpture, Video, Spoken Word, etc...

  • The Awareness Center - Based in Maryland, dedicated to Addressing Childhood Sexual Abuse in Jewish Communities Around the World.

  • Bishop Accountability - This Web site, launched in June 2003, will provide information on the Catholic bishops of the United States and their role in the sexual abuse crisis. This site is the work of unpaid volunteers, and is strictly an educational enterprise.

  • Catholics for Action.org - The site encourages concerned Massachusetts Catholics to contact lawmakers and to push for legislative reforms, write letters to the editors of newspapers and join Voice of the Faithful. It also urges Catholics to educate themselves about the issue and to talk with fellow parishioners.

  • Church Crisis - is a place for survivors of sexual abuse at the hands of Roman Catholic priests to share their experiences, strength, and hope with one another, and also for practicing Catholics who feel angry, upset, confused, and disenfranchised as a result of the current crisis.

  • Coalition of Catholics and Survivors - A diverse group of Catholics, survivors, and professional advocates who seek immediate and practical solutions to the sex abuse crisis in the Catholic Church.

  • Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services - (on-line publications, crisis hotlines)

  • FaithTrust Institute - Seattle interreligious educational resource addressing issues of sexual and domestic violence. Its goal is to engage religious leaders in the task of ending sexual ad domestic violence.

  • From Darkness to Light - Seeking to reduce child sexual abuse through education and public awareness aimed at adults.

  • Good Knight Network - This organization was founded in 1985 by a group of retired law enforcement officers. It is dedicated to empowering children and adults to become champions and protectors through the use of a multi-cultural knighthood theme. The quest of these Good Knights is to prevent crimes and violence against children.
  • Good Touch/Bad Touch Program - A comprehensive child abuse prevention curriculum which teachs children the skills they need to prevent sexual abuse in their lives.
  • Grant Me the Serenity - A site helpful to those seeking recovery from various addictions, such as drugs, alcohols, sex and food. It also features excellent resource pages, with links to other organizations, book lists, etc.

  • Healing Voices - Based in the Maryland, D.C. area, this non profit organization of lay Catholics and survivors provides therapy referrals and retreats for survivors of abuse by any church leaders.
  • The Leadership Council - a non-profit independent scientific organization committed to providing professionals and laypersons with the latest scientific information on issues that may affect the public health and the safety of society’s most vulnerable members, especially children and adults who were abused as children.

  • Voices in Action - VOICES is an international organization providing assistance to adult victims of child sexual abuse. It helps victims become survivors and create accurate public awareness of the prevalence of child sexual abuse, its impact, and ways in which it can be prevented or stopped through educational programs.

  • Voice of the Faithful - The rapidly growing national organization whose mission is to provide a prayerful voice, attentive to the Spirit, through which the Faithful can actively participate in the governance and guidance of the Catholic Church.

  • We Are Alert - Dedicated to alerting and educating victims and their
    families about the dangerous effects caused by being sexually abused (as a child) by the clergy. Warns especially about the danger of suicide.
